Meet the Teacher!

Hello everyone! I have been teaching in the Carteret School District since 2017. I have taught 2nd, 4th and 5th grade. For the school year 2024-2025, I will be teaching 4th grade Reading, Writing, Science & Social Studies. I have my Bachelor's Degree from Kean University in Elementary Education K-6 and Psychology and I am currently going to school for my Master's Degree. 

Students in the 4th grade switch to different classes throughout the day. Students in my homeroom will be with me for Reading, Ms.Green for Writing, Science and Social Studies and Ms. Elysee for Math.

Homework will be assigned Mondays-Thursdays. There will be a deduction of 2 points for every missed homework.

I will be teaching Ms. Elysee's homeroom Reading, Writing, Science and Social Studies.

It is imperative your child is on time and at school every day unless they are sick. Please reach out to me on ClassDojo with any updates about illnesses or pickups. If your child will be absent, please call the main office at 732-541-8960 ext. 5002 to report their absence. 

I was born and raised in NJ. I am a mom of 2 boys, a dog and a fish! I try to make every day fun so my students will grow into lifelong learners.
