Mrs. Di Marco

Hello Students and Guardians!

My name is Mrs. Di Marco and I teach PE & Health at Nathan Hale Elementary School.

I graduated from Kean University in 2012 with a BA in Health and Physical Education and I started teaching in Carteret in 2014.

Teaching and Coaching have always been passions of mine. I believe that physical education presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the overall well-being and development of every student. Helping students develop life skills and a strong knowledge base in a variety of content areas is my main goal for each class. As a physical education teacher, I believe that the most important thing I can teach my students is a love for lifetime wellness. I strive to teach children how to take care of the most important place they are ever going to live-inside their own body! I truly believe that there is no greater experience than watching a student master something that I taught them. It is such a rewarding feeling, and I am grateful to be teaching at Nathan Hale!

I am a "boy" mom to two active toddlers, I LOVE everything about the beach, and I am a dog mom to my giant Poodle named Macho!

A fun fact about me is that as a kid I spent most of my summers playing on an all-star travel softball team and I played Varsity Softball in High School. I went to East Brunswick High School where I was named an All- American Cheerleader and was the captain of the Varsity Cheerleading Squad. Another fact about me is that teaching runs in my family! My father is a retired PE teacher and varsity football and wrestling coach, my older sister is a PE teacher, and my younger teacher is a Family and Consumer Science teacher.
