Welcome, wonderful families! My name is Danielle Hutchinson and this is my 3rd year teaching preschool at the Columbus Elementary School.

I graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Duel Bachelor of the Arts in English and Early Childhood Education degree. This is my 5th year working as a teacher, and my 4th year doing so as a preschool teacher honoring the Tools of the Mind curriculum. I believe that the most successful classroom is one where instruction is differentiated for each student, where learning derives from the children's experiences and interests, and where the student, teacher, and families all work together to foster understanding. When I’m not in the classroom I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
