    My name is Ms. Shannondoah Burke and I would like to introduce myself as your child's new 7th-grade mathematics teacher. This is my eighth year working with Carteret Public Schools. Throughout my twenty+ years of teaching, I have taught various levels of middle school math: 6th-grade math, 7th-grade math, 8th-grade math, Pre-Algebra, and  Algebra 1. I hope to spark interest in the area of mathematics, encourage students to take ownership of their education, and, of course, be successful. I'm here to help students, and I am open to any helpful suggestions that may assist your child.
