Carteret Middle School

The following are the curriculums we will be using in our classroom for each subject area:

• Reading- PCI: focus on learning high-frequency words.
• Math- Touch Math: focuses on using touch points to assist students in computing mathematical equations.
• CBI- Community Based Instruction: Students take four quarterly (once every marking period) trips to places such as the Post Office, Library, and Carteret Park. 
• ADL- Assisted Daily Living: Students take four quarterly (once every marking period) trips to the High School "Apartment" and learn to cook and take care of a home.
